I started altering these old digital clocks about 10 years ago to create unexpected poetry that changed every minute. It took quite a bit of tinkering to get the wording formulas just right, and to find the clocks best suited to this kind of alteration. There was a time during 1998 when my numerous purchases at Goodwill caused a leap in prices. After that, the clocks seemed to get rarer and rarer.
Yes, although I don't have any extras sitting around at the moment. It could take a little while, but I'm definitely motivated by people who simply must have one.
